IAS services are a statutory (legal) responsibility of every Local Authority as per the Children and Families Act 2014- (section 32

CAFA 2014 s32 - SEND CODE of PRACTICE 2015 2.4-2.5

All SENDIAS staff MUST have IPSEA SEN Advisor Legal training (IASSN) in SEND Law and Legislation information and guidance. All Central Bedfordshire SENDIASS staff have level 3 training. 

Every SENDIASS have minimum standards that we MUST provide as set by the Council of Disabled Children.  CDC Minimum Standards
